Taiwan High Mountain Oolong has become perhaps the most sought after tea in the recent trend of New World tea connoisseurship.
Known for its floral aroma and a distinctly complex flavor with a fresh, clean aftertaste - Taiwan High Mountain Oolong is very close to being fully green, and is easily distinguished from the traditional
darker varieties of Mainland China Oolong Tea. The refined production methods in Taiwan have brought tea craftsmanship into a class of its own.
THAILAND OOLONG TEA
High Mountain Oolong that is produced on this tea garden in Thailand is a direct descendant of Taiwan oolong. These tea plants are of the very same strains that are grown in Taiwan, using the same processing methods as well. And this garden is one of the few in Thailand with an elevation around 1000 meters - well within the Taiwan classification of high mountain tea. This garden does not use any chemical pesticides or fertilizers on its tea plants whatsoever.
